Soccer Time

How exciting is this? Aaron has distributed the $1000 worth of soccer equiptment to the village kids. We, as a family have raised $500 from our family and friends back home for the soccer equiptment and Aar

on was blessed to distribute it. He said they swarmed him in excitement.

God has truly given our family a heart for these children in Africa. I am truly humbled by the experiences he has allowed us to go through in our adoption and Aarons deployment to bring to where we are in our faith. All the glory goes to the Lord above.

Homecoming

On April 4th Aaron came home. It was sooooo exciting. He drove from Norfolk to get home. He arrived around 9:30 and the kids and I were beside ourselves. We did sparklers on the porch to kill time...and then the phone rang. It was Aaron telling us that he was on our street. My heart pounded like it was our wedding day. The kids started screaming and jumping up and down. He actually took a wrong turn and it made our wait a few more seconds which felt like hours. Finally he pulled into the driveway! Anna, my none emotional child screamed and literally jumped from the ground onto my hips, squeezing me so tight and crying hysterically. I could not believe it...The boys were already in his arms at this point. Anna and I ran down the stairs and grabbed him. I could not beleive our 6 month wait was finally over...I starting crying and thought I would never stop. I instantly felt like myself again and praise God for bringing him back to us. The way the boys changed when Daddy came home still makes me cry. They have their best buddy back and I could not be happier. We can not live without him.

My Thoughts for the Week

Our friends arrived home with their new children Martha and Michael. Martha is 3 years old and Michael is 9 months. I could not wait to meet them. They had an amazing eye opening journey to Liberia to pick up their children and are home safe. The children could not be more beautiful and already call Tim and Kim, Pappa and Mamma. It is music to my ears. Michael is very friendly and planted a big kiss on my lips. Martha is very content in her new home with her new siblings but a bit reserved. By the end of my visit, she put her arms up to me to hold her, but only for a minute. I was so blessed that day to be able to meet them the morning after they arrived. Thomas, Christian and Anna were in awe. They watched so careful as to how the new children were going to act. Thomas held Michael and had a nervous laugh, very similar to Aarons, when he gets excited. I asked the kids how they felt when we left the Tormeys that morning and they said they were excited to bring their new siblings home. They had a million questions about when we can go pick up our children. I pray the next 10 months goes smoothly and before we even know it our new Frazier additions come home to us.
